Dyno

A dyno is a dynamic move, usually found on difficult routes and boulder problems, that requires a climber to cut completely loose from the rock and jump up to a high hold. John Gill, considered the father of modern bouldering, perfected the dyno to accomplish many of his difficult gymnastic problems.
